Since the 1980's scientists have been investigating whether #sunshine helps treat #depression, and other #mood #disorders. Some research suggests it has a positive effect on our moods, others say its because of the Vitamin D (and if this is the case then the sunshine is irrelevant, as you can get Vitamin from some foods), and others say there is no effect. Although I burn very easily, and often spend the summer walking around like a piece of human fly paper (no sun cream has quite perfected the 'non-stick' effect), there is something about the sunshine which draws me out. If I can I will relocate the office outside, and have even taken up gardening... Whatever the 'official' standpoint on the effects of #sunshine on our moods it certainly makes me feel better. Why not join in and carry out your own #sunshineexperiment today - and let us know how you feel. Katie.
