We were delighted to be one of the sponsors of SkinSincere's charity ball launch party.
I met Gemma Allies, owner of SkinSincere a few months ago, and straight away it was clear that she is a young, vibrant and inspirational young woman. She is passionate about bringing a "natural, organic skincare range, which is free of parabens and sulfates" to the market.
Being lucky enough to test a few samples prior to the event it was a welcome delight to use a product which didn't bring me out in a rash, and left the area under my eyes feeling extremely soft and definitely less puffy!
When we heard that she was having a charity launch party we jumped at the chance to support her, and her endeavor to support hope house hospice. We badgered our network of local (and national) businesses and were able to supply 3 raffle prizes, and a prize for the silent auction*. It was a fabulous event, and on the night she raised over £800 from raffles, auctions, and donations.
Well done Gemma, and good luck for your future. If you would like to find out more about Gemma, and SkinSincere then pop over to her website - https://skinsincere.co.uk/
We were also able to support a fantastic local initiative called 'Pay it Forward' by stumping up the cash for their sponsorship slot. Pay it forward enables generous people to pay for a post it note which acts as a meal ticket for those who are unable to pay for their meal.
*Special thanks to the raffle prizes from: Christine's Florist, Gifted Life, Essential Oil Experiment, and for the silent auction prize from Barnyard.
