What a wonderful weekend we've had! Torrential rain on Saturday, then a random beautifully sunny Sunday.
You may be wondering why I'm talking about the weather...
Here's the thing - exercise can change your life.
Being outside and exercising is like a double whammy.
The outside air, sun, and nature supercharges our cells in a way which is just not possible when you're cramped in a smelly, sweaty gym.
Because I'm trying to be far less of a hypocrite I took advantage of the glorious weather and dragged my poor other half, and both dogs out the door with a giant picnic (seriously we could have fed a whole family!).
The view from the 'edge' & my gorgeous dogs (Loki left & Bruno right).
But seriously - why do you care what I spent my Sunday doing?
Well because going on an hour and a half walk has set me up with enough natural happy hormones to absolutely get me through the drag of a Monday morning.
Doing just 30 minutes of exercise generates enough serotonin to keep you going for a couple of days. When you add in the sunshine and all the fabulous natural Vitamin D everything I ate that day will have been metabolized correctly and all the much-needed vitamins and minerals will have been processed with ease.
What we do with our bodies have a huge impact on our physical and mental health.
There is a catch to feeling great every day and it's not one you're going to like.
You have to exercise and eat healthy before you feel like it.
You have to stick your exercise in your diary and just go and do it.
You have to create a plan for what you need to eat that week - and stick to it.
The worst thing - it's even more important when you're feeling rubbish!
BUT - here's the great news by opting for a healthy snack over an unhealthy one, or taking a quick stroll around the block before you settle into 5 hours of awful TV you will feel better.
The hardest part about getting healthy is going to the gym so my advice - don't bother just nip outside instead!
If you're ready to get serious about banishing stress from your life then the EMERGE Method is for you.
6 weeks of step-by-step instructions delivered to your inbox.
You don't need to scour the internet for days on end trying to find a magic pill (they don't actually exist so hopefully I've just saved you the bother)
The EMERGE Method has been developed by me using current research and tested in the real world on people just like you.
The changes people experience are amazing. Here's what one of our past real world clients thought...
"I used to wake up and the thought of going into work made me feel sick. I didn't know what was wrong because I loved my job. I went to the doctors and had loads of different tests. I found out I had IBS and was told to cut out food I had eaten for years... I spent hours on google and found out that IBS is linked with stress. So instead of cutting out everything I like to eat I got help overcoming the stress. Everything Katie asked me to do was really simple and I wasn't convinced it would work. I couldn't believe the changes and by week 3 I was already feeling like a different person. By week 6 - well I am not stressed anymore, I can eat everything I have always eaten, and things which would have knocked me for 6 in the past go straight over my head. I am excited for what is coming in life for the first time in over 10 years. Thank you Katie - you changed my life!"
Are you ready to be excited by life?
Have a fabulous rest of the day & I'll be in touch soon - Katie
