I was honored to be asked to speak at the Telford Business Partnership quarterly breakfast about mental health in work, and employee wellbeing.
It's not often that I get the opportunity to tell a room full of business leaders that they're the reason their employees are struggling... OK so while I most certainly did say this - there was also a lot more that went into the 40 minute talk!
A local organisation offering a dedicated mental health service to individuals across the county has nominated Talent Match as its dedicated youth project for 2016, which will provide enhanced support to young people suffering with mental illness and behavioural issues.
Woodland Psychological Services Ltd has pledged its support to the Big Lottery Funded project by reinvesting the monies from one of its recent training courses into delivering a series of workshops for members of the Talent Match team, an organisation set up to tackle youth unemployment and support those aged 18-24 struggling to find career opportunities.
